Joe What a wonderful brave boy. This lightly
spotted 2 year old was picked up as a stray and taken to the Arlington
Animal Shelter. He was sick from day one, kennel cough and upper
respiratory and just as he was getting over that he lost his desire
for food. A quick trip to emergency vet clinic let us know that
we were in for a fight. Joe had congestive heart disease causing
fluid on his lungs. Unfortunately the heartworms had been there
so long that it was very dangerous to give the treatment but there
was no choice. Joe fought and hung in there but his heart, lung
and liver were too damaged. He went to the Rainbow Bridge Wednesday,
July 13.
